Ethel Caruso literally saved Yes She Can.  When I started our non profit in 2013 I had no systems in place.  I used an Excel spreadsheet of track revenue from our resale store and from donations.  I knew I had to pay sales tax but I had no way of tracking what I owed. Ethel set up Quick Books and created a chart of accounts that was meaningful to our nonprofit mission.  Once we began having paid staff she made sure our employees were paid timely.  I can now present our financial status with confidence at our monthly Board of Directors meetings.  When a financial issue comes up I can always call on Ethel to help me resolve it.  When I discover something needs addressing or learn something new, I share with Ethel and she is always available to make adjustments.  I consider Ethel a critical partner in making Yes She Can a success.
